Cancellation Policies
We realise that sometimes plans change. In order to be fair to other prospective guests of the Selkirk Arms and to avoid unnecessary charges, please abide by the following minimum cancellation notification schedule:
Individual room bookings
Weekend - 5 days prior to arrival
Midweek - 3 days prior to arrival
Group bookings
3-5 rooms - 7 days prior to arrival
5+ rooms - 14 days prior to arrival
Regrettably we must assess a one night charge per room for cancellations that do not comply with this schedule.
No shows and abbreviated reservations will be charged for the entire reservation.

Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome at the hotel and are allowed in your room and in the Burns room , unfortunately for the sake of other diners dogs are not permitted in dining areas. There is a small charge of £10 per night for dogs and a variety of dog friendly rooms. Please advise us upon booking if you are bringing your dog and we can allocate the correct room for you. We have lots of great walks to share with you and you may bump into Leo the hotel dog on your travels.
